Guest chapter 47 . 6/21/2014 Ignorance is bliss. The opposite of that is... Carlyle. |
k9 chapter 40 . 2/6/2014 isn't it 'alea iacta est? |
Azolean chapter 52 . 12/3/2012 That was a wonderful perspective on his return. I loved it. |
Azolean chapter 51 . 12/3/2012 This was a great catch. And, for all the times I've read this story over the last 30 years or so, I never really caught it. Thank you so very much for highlighting this wonderful little bit in such an awesome way! |
Azolean chapter 48 . 12/3/2012 I love how you turned something touching and insightful into a final thought that contained just enough wickedness to be greatly amusing. |
Azolean chapter 44 . 12/3/2012 I absolutely love this for how beautifully it illustrates the way such an ordinary item one can so easily take for granted can become a treasured relic. |
Azolean chapter 41 . 12/3/2012 rofl The mental images were enough. But the dialogue! That was great! And the little afterward settling down as if nothing were out of the ordinary was all the better. |
Azolean chapter 40 . 12/3/2012 This whole alt for CHAS was incredible. I loved this story and all the details it involved. And the 221b format is one that just keeps me clicking frantically for the next chapter with all your wicked cliffies. I am exceedingly grateful to find this after the fact, otherwise I would have been shamelessly begging for more back when you were still posting! |
Azolean chapter 20 . 12/3/2012 rofl Yep, I could so see Holmes being that cruel and the doctor just that tolerant. |
Azolean chapter 16 . 12/3/2012 I love the focus on something so simple as furniture, but so ingrained as to be a bit more than habit. This was another delightful read in the little snapshot of their lives that it brings into focus. |
Azolean chapter 15 . 12/3/2012 Thank you for this. This little piece of conflict stirred my imagination. It struck me as very true to the characters (as does almost everything of yours I've read thus far) and brought new life to an old topic. |
Azolean chapter 14 . 12/3/2012 That was a great transition from your previous. I love the experimentation; but more so the vagueness of this piece. It made the impact of that last bit all the better for the piqued curiosity throughout. And the idea of Holmes fishing...BWHAHAHA... Okay, so maybe he tried it out as a means of having something more in common with Watson, but still...*snickers* Yeah, I'm just impressed Watson didn't just throw him in the water to start with. |
Azolean chapter 13 . 12/3/2012 Some people just aren't morning people. Sadly, I could imagine what kind of misery poor Watson must have suffered by not being a morning person. The ice water mental image had me laughing. I could almost feel sorry for him, but he obviously enjoyed it; after all, he didn't return the favor of sleepless nights by murdering Holmes in his sleep. lol |
Azolean chapter 11 . 12/3/2012 Wow. You summed up a lifelong friendship from an outsider's perspective in a uniquely creative way. Again, it was succinct, vivid, and touching. Thank you. |
Azolean chapter 10 . 12/3/2012 lol! Oh the mental images! Thank you so much. I needed that laugh. |
