Am i the only one that doesn't feel sorry for Darla?

Alexandra's adventure is truly amazing. I really like how Alexandra is depicted after losing Max. Darla ... she went to the Beyond Lands to save her sister. She actually doesn't want to hurt anyone. Sad.

What an amazing story! I'm stunned by your prowess at keeping me constantly on my toes with plot twists and Alex's often infuriating decisions and just everything! You have given such emotional depth to the characters and to Alex's world, I cried for an hour after max died in the previous book and every time his name comes up my eyes mist over until i can barely read. The way you managed to convey Alex's grief and denial was impressive, I felt right in my bones. When I first started reading book number 1, I was sceptical since I don't usually read harry potter fanfic where there are none of the original characters but I'm completely taken by you series and these profound characters you've created. Thank you for such a gift, the gift of moving me with your words. You have a special talent.

Fuuuuuuuuu okay i think this was the best one so far! In the beginning i wanted to smack some sense into alexandra to just finally accept her brother's death but i guess that's just not who she is. I loved the second half of this story, death was quite fascinating, darla's motivation was heartbreaking and it's great to see a world where being good or bad is not black and white. I don't think everyone is evil in the confederation and i'm most certainly less annoyed by abraham thorn than in the previous installment. As for the stunner maybe alexandra did it to herself in true harry potter fashion. Either that or it was galen. I'm suspicious of that cat. That sentence about dean grimm holding him while wishing alexandra happy birthday struck me odd. Is that cat a person? Anyway i hope you still read reviews. Onto the next one

I just thought of a way Alex could actually succeed. She’d need her father’s locket, polyjuice attuned to Max, a way to sabotage a mortality clock, a good imperious curse, Max’s wand from the future, and a random person that she has never heard of and whose disappearance would not be mentioned around her. She could make arrangements with the Generous Ones before her past self arrives and on the night of the sacrifice, swap Max with a imperioused Max imposter plus future wand so that her past self truly thinks Max is dying. Then leave the Lands Below before her past self and sabotage the clock and convince the ghosts to lie to everyone. Then she’d just have to stay in hiding (with Max) until the moment her past self used the time turner.

This series continues to be devastating. So very well done.
