I like it, but you should go in and edit for believability. She is a military commander, and would have arranged for privacy while not in commanding condition. Also, she is a marine, and would likely have plenty of experience with her own alcohol tolerance levels, and how to fake sobriety if needed.

This was one of the first ME fanfics I ever read, and it inspired me to actually start writing. This is one of my favorites still and I go back and read it all the time! Thank yoU!

awe very good. i liked this. And she was realistically drunk. Not like "oh I'm so drunk. I'm thirteen and just drank a beer" drunk. Which is refreshing since so many stories seem to feature that kind of drunk.

The part where she mistook Garrus for Kaiden definitely pulled at my heartstrings.

"Garrus the carry man" made me giggle. I very much enjoyed this, and I fully support the idea of doing an alternate version with Thane. :D

I enjoyed this story very much. I liked that it was both humorous and believable (coming from someone who has actually made that same mistake about who was in my room with me.)

One minor criticism: at the end, when Shepard sits up sharply and "The world spun." That line doesn't make sense, because the story's from Garrus' point of view and since he's sober, the world isn't spinning for him. It would make more sense for Garrus to guess that Shepard was perceiving that kind of disorientation by watching her actions after she sat up. That way we don't get one sentence that's from Shepard's point of view.

Other than that minor issue,this stands very well alone, but if you were to continue it I would certainly enjoy reading it.
