Such a great two parter and look into the minds of these two. This really reads like canon which is awesome and not something I see in a lot of fanfic. I've read it twice now! A favourite.

I am severly impressed. I was just wandering along and something pulled me to this fic.

Spike's thoughts were flawless. It showed him exactly as I have always pictured him. I have had a crush on Spike since his first appearance and so i have pretty much memorized everything about him. I can even figure out what he is going to say before he says it. He is like a book i have read over and over.

Buffy's thoughts were wonderful. I have thought she was acting like a real *bitch* the last few months and this has given me hope on her charecter. This showed her as dark and sad and confused which she has been doing sooooo much lately.

The little phrases were perfect for both of them and you have gotten spikes sayings and buffy's sayings exactly right.

The writing was beautiful. It was written so well it flowed like poetry. For example "Sunlight that carressed without burning." I was smiling the whole way through.

You have given a long gone B&S lover renewed hope.

So I always think it sucks that the really good stuff never gets as many reviews as everything else does. And that reviews only happen for a short period of time while the fics are on the first few pages.

Therefore: reviewing. :) You always have the most brilliant little touches (like "demonic Hell Weeble", "unpleasant governmental kettle of fish") that bring me so much joy. :) Very BtVS, but even beyond that. And I was so grateful that someone finally wrote up an explanation of Spike's "you belong in the dark" behavior that makes sense to me. Anyway, yeah, great work, makes me wish I watched Dark Angel so I could read more of your stuff. :P

I could feel their frustration at what's going on between them and you didn't fault either one for what they do to each other when all is said and done. Very in character for both. I could see every line played out on screen. Please continue this! What happens next?

very well-written; good insight. I enjoyed Spike's POV of Angel, and in some ways he's right. I am, however, having trouble with the concept of there being enough S/B fics. Enough good ones, anyway.

I really enjoyed this fic. I too have been wondering about the seeming bipolarity of my favorite Sunnydale couple, reluctant though they may be, and this fic explored that beautifully. This was really well-written, and your POVs of both Spike and Buffy were right on-I especially loved the "neutered by poster boys for Psycho Government GI Joe (taser sold separately)" bit. Nice job. :)
