I know this is supposed to be a one-shot, but wow! I would love to see it go a little further, this such a realistic storyline. I hope you reconsider and take it further! Love it!

Wow, great fic. I always felt so sorry for Lorelai at that time. This April thing was BS, and then the Chris thing was even more BS.. You showed her feelings very well.

It is Kinda Luke's Fault, He's the one who pushed her away, Also having April come into his life, It Screwed everything, SO it's both April & Luke's Fault, Luke should have seen that Lorelai was upset, of Course Luke is a Guy & we don;t notice woman are upset until it's too late.

Beautiful, sad, bittersweet, amazing piece of work. I could feel Lorelai's pain in this as she's realizing how much of it is self-inflicted. My heart was breaking for her. I always believed that her sleeping with Chirstopher was not what caused the break-up. It was a long time coming as Luke and Lorelai had stopped really communicating with each other long before that, even before he found out about April. Lorelai had been shutting him out for months when she was feuding with Rory. I never understood why Luke didn't call her on it and wondered if that was partially to blame for him shutting Lorelai out of his relationship with April. They never talked about either situation. I even brought it up, in one of my stories that the two of them talked to each other better when they were just friends. The whole sixth season was just painful and you captured that pain in an amazing way!

OH.. ouch.. wow.. painful, harsh, and very very realistic i think. I've never really fully blamed Luke for the breakup, because while the ultimatium and the running away to sleep with *yuck* might have been the last nail in the coffin, the fact was Lorilai *should* have said something well before she exploded that night, it was odd and out of character for her not to have in my opinion.
