anthail chapter 1 . 5/31/2011
Well. I definitely think this story is something to add to the favourites. And I'll probably come back to it several times in the future.

You said in the beginning that writing this made you realize how you know 'next to nothing about the grieving process.'

Personally, I thought you did wonderfully. Light's emotional reactions, or lack of them make sense. Sayu's reactions make sense. Even Sachiko's are plausible, and could very easily be the case for her character, as dedicated as she seems to be to her family. So, I think this story worked wonderfully as one portrayal of how the family would react... And even though L's thoughts and emotions aren't displayed very clearly, especially at the beginning where Light is all clueless and blank, they do make sense and are well-written as well. I truly enjoyed reading this.

And well. Even if someone would say that they are an 'expert' (in which case I would not want to know how many death's they've had to live through) and that this story of yours doesn't quite portray it. Well, I've lost some people myself, and watched others lose people both close and not-so-close to them. And what I've noticed is that no one really knows anything about the 'grieving process.' It's personal, and it's different every time, and you don't really get used to it. So, it doesn't really matter how much you know about it to be able to write a beautiful story about it.

I thought 'Burnout' was very captivating regardless, so thank you for the enjoyable reading experience.

Moth Mask chapter 1 . 10/2/2010
I'm not exactly sure what to think of this. I liked it, I know that. It confused me at some points, but that's probably from reading it at 1:40 in the morning. Parts of it scared me a bit, actually. Mostly Sachiko's state of mind throughout. I hope to never see someone that way in my life. The complete unawareness... It's creepy. But, it's nice; the story, I mean. I'm not sure what else to say, so I'll stop here.
LimeLLAMAlime chapter 1 . 9/2/2010
Oh gosh...

this was awesome and I really enjoyed reading it.

It made me sad and I even cried at the end of it. ;_;

I was a little confused at the start but maybe I just didn't put enough of thought into it until the end.

Still, great story! C:
