Ooooohhhh very nice! I love the angst and heartbreak (of course). I really liked this different take on the Serena/Darien dynamic where she has given up hope of turning him back. This is very different from the anime where she thought that her love for him could somehow turn him back on its own. This was a very interesting on-shot!

I loved the emotional depths here. I always thought that Serena had to be utterly crushed by Tuxedo Mask's betrayal, brainwashing or not.

The only thing that kind of bothered me was your lack of quotation marks and apostrophes towards the end. I don't know if it was just whatever program you typed it on or what, but it did detract slightly from the overall effect because my OCD kept catching the mistakes instead of letting me be absorbed by the emotion.

OH mannnnnnn, the feels! I actually really appreciated this twist to the fandom. I see a lot of stories that are extremely lighthearted, and while I know that the anime had that feel, the underlying plot and the depth that the characters all have offers so much more.

After all, Serena is a teenager. She's bound to feel the angsty feels sometime. What better moment than after the reveal of her past, and knowing that Darien had been taken by the enemy?

I found your writing style really poignant. It was short, and to the point, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. I found that it forced me to really pull the emotion from each line you wrote and that's really amazing. I have a terrible tendency to overwrite and most of my things are an insane amount of words. I'm almost jealous of your ability to pack so much punch in every sentence.

Few things I noticed that I just wanted to mention. For some reason, every place that there is supposed to be an apostrophe, there's a space. Then, in the one line that Serena speaks aloud, there are no quotation marks. Other than that, this was great! :)

I want to see more! Is it bad that I like this train of thought and think you can go so far with it, do so much? I'd also like to see you write a story where they both really do dislike each other's reincarnations (I can't do it, I always end up writing happy endings... hehe...) and want to kill each other for real, but can't, or something. It just sparked an idea as I was reading it.
