Fantastic use of second person. Don't know if originally there was a break between the mother's point of view and the grandmother's, but I suggest adding one.

Oh my god. I think I'm quickly becoming a fan of your writing :) This is beautifully crafted and amazing and so...gah. *is lost for words* The second POV worked really well. So touching and the last line was just...brilliant. This is really really magnificently well-written that words just can't capture its brilliance really (haha, it /does/ say Naruto :)) Okay, so I'll just shut up and favourite because all you need to know is that this is fantastic and I love it beyond all reason.

I loved this story. It's a completely different way of looking at Chichiro, and I thought you did a great job with it. I like the second-person, too. The only thing I thought should maybe be clarified is the change from the mother's point of view to the grandmother's. I think it might be better with a line or something to make it more obvious that someone else is narrating. Other than that, this was a really great story.

This is a beautiful story, and though it took a while to get used to the style (I haven't read many reader-inserts in a while) I loved it by the end. Excellent job. XD

This was very very pretty! Nice to see Chihiro from a different angle, and little things, like her grandmother noticing the way she cleaned the kitchen "like [...] your mother taught you all those decades ago" made it all the better.

What a lovely story, I found myself getting quite emotional at the end of it though, for some strange reason :)

It flows so wonderfully, going through the motions of life, and when it came to the ending, I was like, YES! :D
