I was actually browsing the kinkmeme when this showed up, and I went 'squee' because it was an old request and the fill had so many parts and I like uke!Suzaku. Um. (line crossed)

Arguably the strongest aspect of this fic (at least, imho) is how you rendered the emotions, Gino especially with his "if-you-still-won't-let-me-in-I'll-just-help-myself" shift in attitude towards Suzaku. It's a jarring change from how he's usually portrayed (happy-go-lucky, well-meaning, a bit on the dense side) but given their backstory this facet of him is quite believable, at least how you presented it. So, yay angry-seme!Gino _.

Favorite parts: going into flowers and all their little meanings (there's a proper term for 'language of flowers', I know, I just can't remember what it is right now), Suzaku offering to repress the Geass for Gino and warning him that he has to be fast, this: ("I don't want to hurt you." He's not quite sure that's the truth.) I wish I had tips to give on the smut-writing, but as it is I'm not an authority on that myself, so I'll just say keep writing _.

(Also: 'Matroshka' - correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't these the Russian dolls that sort of fit inside each other?)

This story was so beautiful, and also very sad. You did a really good job with the lemon, you write em like a pro.
