Fantastic first chapter. It's a bittersweet happenstance that I found this fic as I had a similar idea of Cover Girl being rescued after falling out of a plane (though her rescuer was a different character). Unfortunately, you beating me to the punch by seven years and executing it so well means I'm going to have to shelf that idea... *sigh*

Surprising Doc and Lifeline never thought of the foley!

This was good. Nice setup in the first chapter. Beachhead showing the 'baby rangers' that he is still someone you don't puss off even if he is down was classic. I also really liked how Cover Girl was able to gain their respect. Beachhead was definately getting his ninja on until the end, but, they did warn him. Better luck next time Sergeant Major.

The first scene in the plane was super exciting. I knew they would be ok, but it was still really thrilling to read. I enjoyed the rest of the story, too, including the mention of baby rangers. :) And I thought maybe they would kiss when she was on the bed with him. So sweet.

Snake eyes is usually my favourite character but stories like this one make me begin to reconsider...
I feel like you could write a side fic: Beachhead vs. The Furniture of Doom. Heheheh

Ohhhhh I'm impressed. The Joes should get these nurses to come visit and teach them how to deal with uncooperative patients.

This was extremely entertaining! I love, love, loved it! Poor Beach, have to give him credit for his persistance, but ouch...a foley? Cruel and unusual! LOl but necesary, huh?

I haven't laughed this hard in a while. All four chapters are a hoot. I only found one error. It should read 'peace and quiet' in chapter four, rather than piece and quiet. Loved Aunt Beth of the famous cookies and the interplay between characters. Now I'm curious to know Aunt Beth's rank which requires a security clearance. Will the intrepid Aunt Beth turn out to be an Army cook or military intelligence? Love your writing TC!
