Wow! I must say, that it was quite good. I tend to not like poems that rhyme but i think you managed to sway me. I like how you gave a story but still kept it in that poetry sense. (I loveeee the way you displayed it by the wayy). If i could give you a piece of advice it would be to add a little more feeling next time and it just might captivate someone! :) Keep at it!

I'm glad you gave me a heads up and directed me here. I got my start in poetry, and I have a fondness for words. This is an underappreciated genre, and it is so nice to see it celebrated here. Nice work, I really enjoyed it. I don't usually lean towards rhyming poetry, but you had a nice rhythm and the words flowed so well in their cadence that you drew me right in. Very sweet, I think you did a great job. I would like to see more of your poetry, I think you have a gift for it!
