Another amazing Story that is unique and amazing. I love it. :) Vampire Yami and Yugi just fit so right when they first meant and until the very end.

PFFFFFFT. That has to be the best "I love you" said to a vampire that I've ever heard. XD; Especially while in the viscinity of mummies. That was well played. haha

Beautiful writing and heartbreaking story. I loved the fact that Atem's scars have stories behind them. And I like that you... let Yugi die a natural death at the implied ending of the story. It makes it very bittersweet, knowing that Atem will cary on by himself again after Yugi passes away. It gives the story a lovely shade of realism. Beautiful story! Well done!

I loved the historical stuff that you added in here, really hitting home just how much Atemu has had the chance to see. I think your first person present came off very well, and I only found one error in tense towards the beginning. Other than that, it was very well written, Spirit! Thank you for sharing this one shot with us!

loved the oneshot you wrote it extremely well. Loved how you managed to make Atemu real in this, since that is one thing that most vampire stories seem to lack. Also loved how you used Atemu's past. All in all I'd have to say best Yugioh Vampire fic I've ever read...and I've read a ton of them so you should be proud.

It's nice to see a vampire story as good as this.

Love this. I like the way how you mix the present and the past, it flows very smoothly, and I can't really tell that it is your first try at writing in first person present time.

Another thing I am very fond of is how you let Atemu interact with the world throughout history, giving him scars to remember it by. It makes his high age very real. It is very easy to say that a vampire is a thousand years old, but to actually comprehend it is an entirely other thing. However you make it touchable, making it possible to comprehend just how long he has been around. And it also shows the human side of him, Atemu may not admit it, but what he does and feel is very much human. And I adore the fact that this isn't a meet and fall in love and jump into bed thing. They are gien the time to get to know one another, and this also makes it possible for Yugi to convince Atemu that what he says and feels is true. It's so very beautiful, and at the same time a little bittersweet. Just as it should, and Yugi's last thoughts really says it all. I hope that they're time together will be long. Thanks for sharing this.

That was fantastic, Spirit! I love how it reverted between Atemu's flashbacks and Yugi's first person POV. Awesome remake on the vampire cliche and i love how you left the ending open so its left open to the imagination.

and the style was awesome too. I cracked up at the Twilight comment! You're right it was BEGGING to be written!

Ok, the first thing I have to say is that is the longest oneshot I have ever. Second, I absolutely loved the sexual tension between Yugi and Atemu at the bar. That was done very well. I loved Atemu's past. I did feel really sorry for his betrothed but I was glad to see that Atemu and Yugi got together. I also loved the beggining, when he was turned. It was so compelling. I felt as if I could actually fell Atemu's pain.

Overall, I'd give this 10/10

I loved this fic! :D Beautifully done! I loved the flashback scenes, and the way it bounced between them and the present. And Yugi and Atemu's meeting and getting to know each other was just too sweet! And they got married at the end, *squeals* I love it!
