This is a superbly written, intelligent story that rings true. Heartbreakingly sad but true.

You haven't swallowed what the writers of the show have been shoving at us: that Ziva should be forgiven every betrayal because she's really fragile inside. People who kill for a living (I'm not including soldiers in combat or civilians in a war situation) are not nice people. Assassin training is not going to be turned off like a switch - the moral fiber of the assassin has changed if the morality was ever there in the first place.

The earlier reviewer's reference to the interview with Cote and Weatherly is a perfect analogy to this story: Ziva would kiss Tony and then stab him. A woman doesn't easily forget that kind of power!

I didn't notice the Author's note at first and I thought it was from Abby's point of view but I makes just as much sense from Tim's and either way is a well written piece.

Personally, I don't find this entirely believable...but it's written well, and I like it. It reminds me of the time when Cote and Michael were on E! or something, and he asked if they ever killed his character, how she would like to see them do it. She replied with, "I would kiss you, and put a knife through your gut." Sorry about this little ramble, your story just reminds me of it.

Anyway, great job. I don't ever see this happening on the show, and I cannot picture Tony and Ziva while reading it, but it's very good, and I like your writing style.

It's a very strange story. honestly, i'm not really sure if i like it but it is very compelling to read. It may just be that I don't really read angsty stories much. I don't know if you would consider this a positive review or not but as a plus, I think you did a nice good of writing it.
