this AU is absolutely awesome, and i don't usually enjoy AUs. i really wish there was more in this universe!

Noooo the story ended it was so good... I think I might prefer this AU to the actual Sherlock Holmes. I wish there were more chapter but alas, all good things must come to an end.

John does have an older brother, but his name is Harry. He was an alcoholic & died sometime before The Sign of the Four, because it's mentioned in the first or second chapter of that story.

I like your fic regardless, this one and the previous one, but I wanted to mention the Harry thing.

I read this whole story far too quickly. Your writing is entertaining and engaging. Please write more in this fandom. I have read very little Sherlock Holmes, but I love how you write the characters. Your comment that KCS said Mycroft was similar to Bones in the other fic is pretty true. I love Bones and I actually like Mycroft the way you write him. Good job!

It’s so fascinating to see John being aware of Mycroft’s possible future food issues and how traumatized the boys are (Sherlock desperately needing his brother and craving comfort and crying completely silently).

I love how John proves that he loves them both, too. Just adorable.

And the flash-forward into the future was awesome, too! Really well done.

I'm not normally a reader of kidfic in this fandom, but I guess all bets are off when one or more of the protagonists are the children. I normally prefer more plot in my stories, but this was still very sweet. Makeshift families have long been a great obsession of mine, and you portray their family dynamic very nicely.

I loved this. The pace, how you explained how hard it had been to get them to trust each others, everything. And reading about how protective John is, I can't help but wonder how he would react to Moriarty... He would probably just put a bullet in his head, for daring to hurt his little boy :)

ooo mymymymyy gosshh! iv been reading these hungrily and they are just so amazing anddijroiganerh! the only reason i haven't made an attempt at a review is because no review can match the amount of love i have for these! and this kind of story is not one i thought i would ever like! but its sooooooooooooo fantastic! i give anything to sere these be made into a TV show or movie just as they are! but i really want to see more of these their are so much you could write about, filling in the blanks of this fic alone, like Mycroft's weeks with a head injury ! and Sherlock's pov during when he broke the picture and seeing his brother fall, just to name a few. WONDERFUL! i cant get enough of these! i simply love how wonderfully sad it is when they expect him to be mad and hes only sorry, id love to see the conversation voice out in the open on how devastatingly wrong the boys have come to realize that they expect anger.

I think this had just topped my favourite fanfic of all time. I found this like three days ago, and now? I have read both atleast twice over and still can't comprehend this at all.

I LOVE ABSOLUTLEY EVRETHING. The plot is so fantastic and orginal and something I've never seen done before, and your characterisations are completley spot on (jeez I sound so British) and I've just fallen in love with us. Seriously, you just blew me away with this series.

Mycroft is so...Mycroft. His personality as a teenager is so realistic and I love him so much, he's so protective and he broke my heart with his trust issues! I love the way you included his food problem aswell, I was just like 'AWWWWWWW!' The way you described it was so breath-taking and I truly beileved every single thing you typed like I was reading an actual story.

YOUR WATSON. OH MY GOD. He's so...nice! And humble, and a gentleman and really, well, Watson-like. JEEZ, your characterisations...Are you sure you weren't the orignal author in a past life or something? I felt so sorry for Watson, and he very nearly reduced me to tears with the amount of unconditional love he gave to his boys. I love his relationship with Mary (I found it so heart breaking!) and the way you decribed his old army wounds.

And, ofcourse, who could not love your Sherlock? Your Sherlock is actually the favourite Sherlock I've ever read, JUST BECAUSE HE'S SO FREAKING ADORABLE. Anything he did I found utterl endearing and, god, he was just so precious. I love how tiny he was (seriously, I have a thing for small or tiny Sherlock, don't even ask) and how he was always being protected, and how mishchievious he was! I just wanted to hug the life out of him. I espicially LOVE the final chapter of this, where you included his heighted senses (because I also have a thing for that too. Go figure.) and my heart just snapped in two.

Basically, I just...ACK, I CAN'T DESCRIBE IT, I WISH YOU COULD READ THIS FROM MY POINT OF VIEW BECASUE UT'S SO BRILLIANT AND OMG. I don't even know, I've just completley ran out of words.

Please please PLEASE promise me you'll add another instalement to this series. I don't think I can live without another. I read you were planning to in your author's note (because I'm such a stalker.) but you haven't as of yet and I'm totally going to cry if you don't! I'd love to read more of Mycroft and Sherlock as kids but then again I would also love maybe a few more peaks when they're a bit older too..I DON'T KNOW MAN, I JUST FREAKING LOVE YOU AND YOUR WRITING. I ADORE your style so much, it's not overly describtive so it's boring but it's not bland either, there's just something different about it then anything I've ever read and I would LOVE to read more of your stuff. Unfortunatley I'm not really into other fandoms you've wrote about, but I've read that you're on about publishing a real book? UM, YES PLEASE? I would totally buy that, I've read your plot summary thing and it sounded really interesting- and oh dear I'm embarassing myself with my lame stalking.

Right, sorry, I've just realized I've ranted WAY TOO MUCH. Um, well I love your writing, love this series, would love to read more Sherlock from you and would be totally interesting in your book! SO SORRY I've wasted your time with this ugly typo filled rant thing, but I NEEDED to let you know I love this so hard and think it deseves WAY more reviews. Basically.

Oh, by the way- is thisthe movieverse? Because I always imagined it as that, with a mini RDJ Sherlock because it's such an adrable image! Just curious!
