I didn't know what to expect - certainly not the ending.

Very interesting take on "personal bubble".

This may be one of the most well-rounded, quietly amusing, and well-articulated examples of randometry that I have read.

I, too, like the cat ending. It's simple, much like this review.

On second thought, all the unnecessary modifiers in my first sentence make this a not so simple review.

This was very amusing, and I could picture the spaz out very clearly the way you described it. I think my favorite line was: "It's invisible! And understood! You're not supposed to pop the bubble, but you keep popping the bubble!" I like how you write Jake as being a little wary and sardonic and not entirely on board with everything at this point.

Oh, and the cat thing was hilarious, cute, and so awesomely random. Perfect way to end it.

ROFL loved this fic realy comic. I also start feeling alot of empathy for Jake as the space bubble is a unerversal human trait (me sadly being human rather than Na'vi)

Matt87, I strongly disagree, the body language Jake displays in the movie is definately not of the affectionate kind. His eyes are not soft when he turns to Neytiri and as soon as Neytiri steps back out of his personal space, he turns his head back to resume practice with the bow. Ms Muffet if you read the Avatar script that's available online, you'll know that in that bow scene that Jake was liking that Neytiri was getting up close and personal on his bubble space! ha ha!

In this story, he doesn't like it, but in the movie he definitely does.
