I just know Xander was thinking 'Fuck you Buffy.' when she made that crack about him staying safe. Still, how do we know that Xander's previous incarnations were just seriously badass?

Why do I get the feeling that all of Xander's past lives are going to be either famous or infamous?Xander and Cordelia's first lives were as Mary and Joseph? Consider my chin getting snuggly with the floor.

Okay, replacing the names of the people in the Jesus story with offshoots of the Buffy characters is kind of weird.
