I thoroughly loved this piece! I really don't know what it is about Buttercup and Ace; the dynamic, the events in the episode 'Buttercrush', I'm not sure. But there's just something about them that... clicks, for me. Maybe they're kindred souls, as you pointed out here. Buttercup's always been some sort of an outcast, an odd one out of all three Puffs. Maybe it's that. Or maybe it's that despite of their less-than-friendly history, which was certainly no picnic, to say the least, there's somehow still the possibility - as impossible as it may seem - of friendship shared between them, as well. I mean, look at Ace! Evidently, even he can act all nice and sweet when he wanted to. Respect and understanding could bloom just yet...

This was beautiful in its simplicity. The romantic undertones were nicely handled, being touching instead of overbearing and sappy. There was also something kinda dark about this, with the implied abuse between Butch and Buttercup. On a lighter note, the part about Him's pancakes made me laugh!

That was...brilliant! I can't believe I didn't find this story before! :P A concept certainly I've never thought of, and here I thought I've attempted to toy all I can with RRB/PPG drama without sounding like a sad old fluffy regular you may have seen on the site :P But the best part being it's not centred on Butch/Buttercup but a Buttercup/Ace! *Girly squeal!* And Butch, one of the more realistic views I've seen of him, IMHO :] Pretty much their relationship, I'd love to see more of that portrayal (y)
