Oh goodness... this broke my heart. I don't know how else to comment: sad but gentle and beautiful, and the Doctor was written perfectly here. Perfection. Heart-breaking perfection.

Poor, poor Donna. I always feel weird saying things like "I loved it!" when it comes to fics like this, stories that aren't so happy for the characters involved. But I did love reading this fic, and I will be adding it to my favorites and then keeping an eye out for any future sequels/updates. Very well done! :)

You are going to be my new favorite doctor/donna writer. Are you going to continue this story? I hope you are. There is lots of room for this story to expand and I should really like to know a bit more about what happened and how the doctor gets her to smile again.

Oh, I don't know what to say. It's very well written and yet... terrible and sad at the same time. I don't think you would really have to have the M rating on this as it is only implied what the basis of the plot is but all the same it is better to be safe. Again, I thank you for the wonderful weaving of this story as it is truly well written.

Great sequel. I enjoyed the in-depth look as to what happened. If you decide to do anymore with this storyline, I'd certainly like to see where it goes, especially how the Doctor breaks the barriers she's put up and their relationship as friends evolves.
