| TheMidnightOwl chapter 1 . 5/1/2011 This was absolutely beautiful. To stray away from the original storyline is really challenging because you have to prove that it works. Pairing Elizabeth and Jack, while their chemistry is unmistakable in the movies, is challenging because she loves Will and constantly turns Jack down. You've proven in this and in Rum and Persuasion (which i did read but admittedly didnt review :/) that these two can work together. On to the dorkier part of my review: the language. I love the language you use. Beautifully and poetically written paragraphs laced with constant usage of the senses to let the reader see the total darkness and still imagine every touch, every kiss, every soft little moan. Exquisitely written pieces, both of them. You just helped me step up my game with my own works :) |

You may want to consider some sort of visual break when perspective shifts between the two to avoid confusion. I'll definitely be checking out your other works! Thank you for this one. |
