There's an interesting cadence to your speech. Is English your second language? (Or perhaps you're writing from somewhere on Earth that I'll never guess.)

Thumbs up to the established relationship (always went in for that in TOS fandom) and the h/c is cool. It's interesting to contrast this Spock to the TOS Spock who always seemed tormented whenever the Captain was hurt or missing-like it went to a whole other level. Your Spock is very upset, but there's a purposefulness to it. I think it comes down to the fact that the new Spock never needed Kirk the way the TOS Spock did.
