This was super hot! Just a preference for me, I had trouble with Koizimi's anger. I know that's tough to deal with. So I was really happy that Tsuruya and Koizimi got together. And the S&M is hot! Biting him with that fang! Hissssssssss... Wow...

WOW. I can't believe it took me so freaking long to read this D: It's gorgeous!

I certainly didn't expect Koizumi's thoughts to be so... sadastic. But, there you go. It was fitting nonetheless, and really dives into a characteristic that he may or may not be hiding. That bit at the end with Tsuruya licking her blood-stained fang kind of creeped me out XD She is one freaking scary girl. But then again, it was good. Can't really describe it.

You should write more serious fanfics, Super :D You're actually really good at them when you buckle down into an idea. _ Good luck with your future work~

This one has been out for a while, and I finally got around to seeing it. Truth is, I've been interested in it for a while, but I've just been lazy.

It was fun seeing this side of Itsuki lash out.. and just between you and me, I too, sense parts of that side of him too.. chances are, you may encounter something similar later on ;)

Itsuki's character was a lot easier to digest than Tsuruya's, though.. even though the canon Tsuruya had little room for development, I still couldn't buy it as easily. It's fine, though.

There's a few more of your works I have to plow through - there's no telling how many I'll get to cover today, though.

I know I haven't been active very much as of late, my internet's been acting up these recent weeks. :(

Anyhow, today I just felt the need to read something short and good, and fortune was kind enough this day to grant me at least a few minutes of internet connection, so finally I took myself and read this story.

Once again, just like with "Gears and Springs", this shows that thou have a knack for writing serious stories too. This is pretty much an introspective story, exactly what I like the most, but written from a third person perspective. While I prefer the first-person perspective for these types of stories, thou've managed to write it so well that it doesn't detract anything from the story. It kind of reminds me of that French movie... "Le Destin Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain" I think it's called... it very much like that except dark, much darker.

What I like the most about this is how thou succeed in conveying Koizumi's frustrations with his daily life and how they conflict with his duties, his yearning for Haruhi and how much he hates the way things are and how he detests Kyon, his favourable position and indifference towards it, the club, Haruhi and himself. Thou really succeed in putting the reader in the Koizumi's own shoes and feel the same things he does as one does really realize how much of a jerk Kyon actually is after reading this. Thou should write more short stories like this one. :)

i think this story is just complete angst and not horror at all. itsuki is completely hating on kyon and mikuru, while tsuruya is hating on mikuru and haruhi. those were some great scenes with itsuki playing against kyon in the clubroom, and itsuki grabbing tsuruya's wrist in the hallway. you always picture him to be somewhat of a wimp, kind of like a clark kent, no bad intentions or bad thoughts on anyone. but once you get to know him, hes still a mystery. is he gay for kyon or does he outright hate him? does he trust the rest of the brigade or does he hold his cards close to him so noone can see what hes up to? thats whats so great about his character. and interestingly enough you can ask the same questions about tsuruya. thats why their relationship would definitely make for an interesting show. in either case i hope you update your other project soon. laterz

Damn, even when you departure from the comedy, you are really good at other genres. I really have to applaud you for that. This fic however...is crazy. Definitely in that good sense with the dynamic between Tsuruya and Itsuki, just because I don't think it's ever been done before AND it's being done in an original form as well.

My only problem is that it's a little hard to follow some of the romantic pairings. And that Mikuru/Haruhi is hard to see as well.

Otherwise, fantastic one shot!

You're right. Not all Valentines Day fics should be lovey-dovey. (Though mine is...) Oh, well... I like Koizumi's list of all the things he hates about Kyon, because they're also the same things I hate about Kyon. I can just imagine that last scene vividly. Keep up the good work. Until next time,

wiw..you sure know how to make a bittersweet story 3

Although this was definately a dark story, and I try to avoid those like the plague, this was actually kind of nice to read. Koizumi and Tsuruya seems surprisingly well-suited for each other.

Well, this was a weird little jaunt into characters' minds. I must say that this really wasn't horror as much as something else, but you know this already. Meanwhile, I will try not to think of the tangled-up web of relationships that exist in this fic. Anyway, this was a nice change of pace from your usual work.

Some words were kinda hard to understand with my limited vocabulary as I've pointed-out earlier, but everything else is just plain awesome. I really think you're talented as a horror/angst writer. I especially like those lines from Koizumi's thoughts. They felt so like him even though it completely contradicts his facade.

However, for a more constructive review, I should add that Koizumi's words had... ehh... too much venom...? I mean, the mood for the fic allows for it but the level of his words kinda uhh... distracted me from his hate to the significance of his facade for Haruhi and Kyon.

Aww... I'm babbling here... Anyway, I think your fic is really, really, REALLY awesome! I'll be anxiously waiting for the next one~
