It has been some time since you updated, but I hope you do—can't wait to hopefully read a multi-chapter story about adult Mikan and Natsume figuring things out together.

OMG, hi! I have been a really big fan of you and your work! I am obsessed with Gakuen Alice and you are the best writer of GA fanfic for me! I lost count as to how many times I've read your stories and I even made a little list of them so that I know which ones to read first so that the timeline's all consistent. I personally love "His Dark, Kind Soul" so much even though it doesn't have much room for NatsumexMikan. It really left a mark on me and I feel like if someone else were to continue the story of Gakuen Alice in the manga it would certainly be you. Everything just works! Everything makes so much sense whenever I read your stories. I love that it really took time for Natsume to finally own up to his true feelings and I love how Ruka and Hotaru took their own time as well. And even though it broke my heart, I was touched regardless with the way Little August delivered his eulogy for his beloved dad. Even my pen name is named after your creation! I hope you're not mad, I am no claiming it, I was just really in love with the nickname that came up with. I couldn't help myself. Anyway, I hope this review (well, more of fan letter) reaches you. I am writing note of appreciation to you in hopes that you will see this. Since 2006, your writings have continued to inspire and and move me. Now, nine unimaginably long years later, I have only just begun to realize how much your writings have allowed me to continue loving the Gakuen Alice world, and how much the worlds you have created changed my perception of the manga entirely. I feel you breathing new life into this spectacular alternate universe of your creation every time I re-read your stories. Recently, "His Dark, Kind Soul" once again moved me to tears even though I never have imagined that I would come to love even original characters, who I now know are every bit as real and as beautiful as those that exist in the manga. Your bittersweet interpretation of "Forever and a Day" never fail to thaw the ice around the distanced characters every time I decide to revisit them. I can't decide if I prefer "Open Season" or "Forever and a Day" more, but the latter is such a beautifully poignant novel that I gravitate towards it far more than I care to admit. No one writes about the Hotaru and Ruka relationship like you do.

Fanfiction or not, but you are one my favourite authors far and few beyond. Thus, I am mustering my courage in hopes that we can establish a new friendship that I now see is nine years late.
