RaggedDreams chapter 61 . 6/24/2016 Okay that was a roller coaster and I loved every chapter! Thank you for writing this story. I think.. I needed this. 3 |
RaggedDreams chapter 4 . 6/21/2016 I am seriously in love with this story! Its made me giggle and made me squee. I am seriously looking forward to reading more of this :D |
The hell chapter 41 . 2/13/2012 If Senayax is ten or thirteen or whatever, why did Zexion need to have sex with her? If they needed to get her pregnant, couldn't they just artificially inseminate her? It'd still fuck her up, but less so than having sex when she clearly isn't ready. That's just really screwed up. |
Pokelover chapter 28 . 6/25/2011 I just died of laughter |
Pokelover chapter 14 . 6/25/2011 I was cracking up at the part with Xigbar and Larxene and whoever else was there |
Mousewolf chapter 52 . 6/22/2011 "And try one, and try two - I guess it always comes down to It's alright, it's okay, I guess it's better to turn away~" Heh. You know, I actually closed this tab last night (two chapters ago, to be precise) because the corruption and rabbit-bone sharpness of everything that goes wrong was getting to me. I told myself it was because of the Purity Sue no Jutsu, or the OOCness of the rest of the Organization. But it bothered me not to come back and see it through to the end, so here I am. Poor fools. |
Mousewolf chapter 23 . 6/21/2011 Larxene's Story Here I Dreamt I Was An Architect. No, seriously. Go youtube it. I swear blind you're doing this on purpose. |
Mousewolf chapter 12 . 6/21/2011 This chapter Grace Cathedral Hill. *headesk* This is starting to scare me slightly... Anyway, the line about Xemnas monolouging made me nosetrick my tea. I love you so much right now 3 |
Mousewolf chapter 9 . 6/21/2011 I don't supposed you're a Decemberists fan, are you? I've been listening to Castaways and Cutouts while I read this, and it's the PERFECT soundtrack ('A Cautionnary Tale' and 'Odalisque' were playing while I read this chapter, and they fit so well it's slightly disturbing.) But yeah, this fic is AWESOME. I came here from TV Tropes, and what looked like a slightly cracked sweet fic borne of the kind of fantasies EVERY girl has about joining the Organization and marrying Zexion (or maybe that was just me? ;;) has now morphed into one of the very finest bits of horror fiction I have ever encountered since that one Naruto fic where Kyuubi was an Eldritch Abomination and sort of leaked out the sides... Anyway, absolutely LOVING this like cherry-chocolate cookies and caramel latte! *snuggles you and runs off to read the rest of this gorgeous thing* |
The Loremaster Alchemist chapter 61 . 5/17/2011 I wanted to cry. I couldn't, but nonetheless, I wanted to cry. I have extremely morbid sensibilities. I actually find massacres hilarious. When I watched the Tim Burton version of Sweeny Todd, and Helena Bonham Carter was pushed into a furnace, I couldn't stop laughing. It was the look on her face mainly, and once her hair went up, she resembled what I can only describe as a giant, burning Barbie doll. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to make someone like that want to cry? I do. This is one of the greatest literary fanworks I have ever encountered. I hope that you will accept my sincerest congratulations, and that you will continue to write other great works. Yours tearfully, Rorek Ngolmo The Loremaster Alchemist |
Marching Madly Onward chapter 1 . 1/26/2011 It's a strange story you have on your hands. It's been praised all up and down the world, but, having finally had the chance to read it, I have trouble seeing what all the fuss is about. It's not a bad story. It's just not a very good Kingdom Hearts story. You're obviously a very good author. The comment that Ansem only saw Ienzo reaching out for a hug when Zexion fell was a very powerful passage. You can set a scene and spin a yarn, but it comes at the cost of twisting the cast so far what it is that makes them who they are that I have to ask "what is the point?" We have Xemnas getting emotional and overwrought when he's never been anything more than a self-serving schemer. This was the guy that lead the entire Organization to ruin in order to suit his own God complex. Then there's Vexen's internal monologue about how frustrating and irritating and charming and graceful Marluxia is... Wait, this is the same Vexen who couldn't stand being in the same room with Marluxia, only deigning to obey him so he and the other old timers could get enough proof to expose him as a traitor? And that's not even touching on a Marluxia who gives a care for Vexen as anything more than a tool that is bound to outlive its usefulness. I could go on about Xigbar and Saix and whoever else, but that would belabor the point. These are Nobodies. They are cruel, driven individuals who will tear the world down in a facsimile of rage for their lost hearts. And here we have them calling each other "baby" and other such nick names to pepper a conversation out of a teenage comedy. Of course, we have the brand new original who everyone and their mother absolutely loves to death. Everyone cries for poor little her. Everyone changes for poor little her. There's nothing wrong with an original character becoming a central character, but Senayax is the post upon which EVERYTHING in Kingdom Hearts is suddenly hung. In your favor, I will say I enjoyed the exploration of notions like pregnant Nobodies and Nobodies at least making an effort to fake emotion. (That second aspect is what makes them so much fun.) Granted, this is all portrayed in such a way as to give us a cast of characters with Kingdom Hearts names tacked on, but I admire the effort. It's a colorful cast. It's just not the cast I expected. Perhaps you might better be able to flex your creative muscles with original fiction? |
Gaara'sLover95 chapter 61 . 1/13/2011 Omg! I love this story sooo much! It's really excellent! I enjoy your writing. Can't wait to read more of your story's. |
TheAwesomePrussia aka.sweetyjg chapter 61 . 12/23/2010 OMG I can honestly say this is one of the best and most well thoughtout storys that I have ever read. I loved the emotional roller coster that this story is on the whole time. Even the augst abd drama. I think those are what realy made the story great. I loved how you portraid everyone's character and then added your own little twist to it. I also love the pairings I think thateveryone balanced each others qualities out perfictly. Thanks a bunch for writing this and sharing it with us all. I honestly laughed so hard at parts that my mom thought I was having a seziure and other parts made me cry as if it was happening for real. Great job and keep up the good work! ~Jessica~ |
natcat5 chapter 61 . 12/22/2010 Oh hello, guess what I spent the last two nights staying up til 2 am doing? THAT'S RIGHT. I got sucked into this MONSTROSITY of a fanfic. Dear Lord, like, goodness. Okay, this review may not be as detailed as I want it to be. When I finished reading this last night I had a million and one things I wanted to say, but I kinda crashed since it was so late/early. I'm going to try and remember everything I wanted to say, but I'll probably forget most of it. '-_- Okay, first off, Zexion. It's funny, when you said a couple of chapters back that Senayax was definitely getting a happy ending, I didn't think you meant that ZEXION WOULD BE BITING THE DUST! Like, seriously, the plethora of curses that streamed out of my mouth during that chapter and the following one is...gah. Okay, that aside, let's start from the beginning. (And thus, begins me trying to kick my fail memory into gear. OTL) So, you know, I've tried reading this a few times before, but always stopped because I, like the majority of fanfictioners, don't really like OC-centric stories. However, lately I've gotten into the habit of reading stories if I like the writing style, even if I don't like the plot. You write and describe things beautifully, so even though I'm turned off of OC-centric things I pushed forward, because I loved One Great Circle. So you're first major accomplishment was getting me to read this, because I've kinda become really picky when it comes to OC stories. Due to the fact that bad OC stories remind me of my own FAIL KH story with WAY to many OCs, I'm super sensitive to them. But I read this one and I read it with glee! Okay, onwards. Um...not really sure where to go from here (I lost my train of thought) but it's something like... Okay, Senayax, a very...interesting character. The focus is immediately on her, which can make it hard to get into the story, and she has...a lot to her. It's not a bad thing, in a normal story, but for fanfiction it's like...you made a story for an OC and stuck KH characters in for the benefit of the doubt. That's how it first appeared. And even as the story progressed, it kinda annoyed me how the entire cast seemed to revolve around her. Like, the Organization loved her, Heartless loved her, Sora loved her, freaking SQUALL liked her...it sorta aggravated me. Okay, it really aggravated me. But I got over it. Like I said, you're like one of those aggravating salesman. No matter how much you DO NOT WANT that deluxe vacuum cleaner that salesperson is just to silver-tongued and smart and good at what they're selling. As much as the OC stuff would have annoyed me to the point of leaving, it didn't because you are a writing guru and could write about an orange having a love affair with a rake and I would love it. In addition, you weaved quite the awesome KH tale here. I'm glad I read One Great Circle first though. It's nice to have the backstories to all the pairings here. (Though I'm STILL patiently waiting for my AkuRoku. Oh God, the torture I'm going through...you may be my fave KH fanfic author and AkuRoku is my fave KH pairing so I'm SUPER Stoked to see how you write it developing in OGC. Wa-ha...get here sooner Roxie...) I can appreciate the MarVex and LexLarx more with remembering all the trials they went through in One Great Circle. Actually, it really helps to have that backstory. I really love the MarVex in this fic, and even more the LexLarx, because it seems so NOT rushed thanks to OGC. Okay, (I'm going to be going completely out of chronology here so brace yourself) Kingdom Hearts. Sentinent being? H'okay then O.o. Like, it was a concept I haven't come across before, except in crack fanfics when Xemnas's creepy/eternal devotion to the moon gets creepier, but I've never seen it seriously before. In addition, her personality was…for lack of a better term, BEASTLY. Like, her whole, ‘give me your child so I can help you’ deal, it was pretty…like, I couldn’t really tell if she was telling the truth, if her motives were pure. She was interesting, the times she took over Senayax as well. Now, that brings us to Mr. Hollowmoon. I like what he is in contrast to Kingdom Hearts. I really like those two characters. Interesting concept, and well told. Okay, now, back to KH stuff. So I think one of my fave scenes in this entire fic is when Xemnas said Xigbar was going to face the Keybearer and Demyx was all RAWR. I LOVE stuff like that. I love seeing emotions bubble up because of this beautiful little story you’ve crafted. It’s amazing, really it is. Like, ack, ack, ack. I was kinda in pain to, reading that. It was like…oog, I could feel how much Demyx wanted to go and help Xigbar and his frustration and his love and….ahaha. You get what I mean. Another thing I love relationship-wise. Riku/Sora/Kairi. Now THERE’s a pairing I love. I’ve got this thing for Square Enix threesomes, I’ve discovered. I also love Ven/Aqua/Terra, Cloud/Aerith/Zack and even Roxas/Xion/Axel a bit. I also adore Sephiroth/Angeal/Genesis/Zack/Cloud, but that’s an entirely different story. Anyhoo, I loved that scene with Sora Riku and Kairi, when they were all super emotional and apart from each other. That is how I like to see their relationship. I don’t like SoKai because it’s too stereotypical. I like SoRiku but don’t like seeing Kairi alone or jealous, because I recognize that Sora cares a lot for Kairi too. In fact, I’d say that Sora cares for Kairi and Riku equally, canon-wise. In KH1, he was obsessed with Kairi, in KH2, he was obsessed with Riku. As such, I believe there is a fair argument for both pairings, and totally love them as an equal threesome, where the love isn’t confined to two people. There’s a fanfic that I actually love with that pairing. It’s called ‘Salvation Holdout Central’ by Edmondia Dantes Redux. It’s AMAZING. One of the best fanfics I’ve ever read and it does not have enough reviews. It’s really well-written Riku/Sora/Kairi and if you like the pairing you should totally check it out. Oh, and you have the most hilarious explanations of BBS, so you also might like the fic ‘Reaching the Understanding’ by Varanus. It’s hilarious, truly. And kinda has the Ven/Aqua/Terra pairing. *cough* Oh, my, look how I go off. Honestly, can’t keep focused on one thing if my life depended on it. Another scene I loved was when Senayax and Demyx ran off to protect their loved ones and ran into King Mickey and Sora. Scratch that. I ADORED this scene. You might have noticed from my reviews on OGC, but I love fics that dig under the corners of KH and pull-out possible scenarios and scenes that make things so much more realistic and better. Sora not considering the fact that Nobodies had feelings and being flabbergasted by Demyx? King Mickey also being unsure? Having that doubt actually be there? I love that. Fricken love it. I also love Ansem and his memories of his apprentices. I love all that interaction in the story. All of his flashbacks, their actual meeting, and that uber-disturbing heartwrenching flashback of when they lost their hearts. That one made me cry. This fanfic can get unbearably sad…but at the same time, it has some downright hilarious moments. That Hundred Acre Woods chapter had me crying my eyes out with laughter. I can totally see that world censuring EVERYTHING. In fact, I think that’s my new headcanon. If I ever write a KH fic where they go there (which prob won’t happen because I no longer have any faith in my KH writing abilities) then I am totally going to put that censure into effect. And Sunny Jim! He’s adorable, really he is. I like the interaction between him and Zexion. Two men hoping to protect the same girl. D’aw. Alright, Xemnas. Stupid little Fruker. I could bitch for a very long time about his decision to do what he did to Senayax, knowing FULL WELL what happened to Mother. I won’t bitch though. I’ll just say that I do not support his decision in any way shape or form because dammit if he could love Saix without a heart and everyone else could love each other without a heart than What the FRUK else do they need hearts for? Like, really. In addition, Mother’s story…made me tear up a bit. It was really sad. Like, poor little Heartless… I do love you incorporation of the FF characters and their relationships. Mostly their personalities though. While I knew it wasn’t a good thing and I got this bad prickly feeling when Cid pretended he couldn’t fix the gummi ship right away, I liked that that happened. I mean, I liked that concept of them wanting to give Sora a real family. I also liked how he used the time to train. Sounds like he got pretty beast in that time. ;3 Another thing I liked how Senayax didn't want to be ‘given up on’. How the one thing that scared her was how it seemed like Zexion had given up on her. And that scene at the end, that whole end section, was mostly skimmed over because there is only so much heartbreak I can take. Sora about to kill Xemnas in cold blood and killing Zexion instead? Senayax slicing herself open on the Keyblade? All that wonderful gore and heartbreak? . Happy ending did occur though, thank goodness. All in all, it was a great fic. A very awesome read. ...I feel like I should end with something with more finality, but I'm too exhausted from this monstrosity of a review. Adieu! |
NeviChaos chapter 61 . 11/5/2010 Brilliant way to end the story. I loved every moment of this story and am so glad to have stumbled across such a great writer. |
