I read this story a long time ago, when I was scouring the internet for any and all Smellerbee content, and I still really enjoy it. These two characters don't get enough love and they don't show up again after Jet dies and I always wonder what happens to them. Two broken kids who didn't get to save the world with the Avatar like some of the others from the treehouse did. They experienced every Injustice and didn't have the ability to stop it. They must be more full of hate than Zuko. I wonder what would have happened if they joined the gang with Zuko and Aang. Thanks for writing this!

You spelled mourns wrong, but other than that, it was great! I wish it had a slightly happier ending, just because they're my favorite couple in the series and not too many stories feature them. But anyways! Keep on doing what you do!

This is really good. I enjoyed it.

In canon, most of the so-called Freedom Fighters are just background characters, easily forgotten. In the verse, they have thoughts and feelings and lives, and no one who lived like they did can come out of it whole. Co-dependency.

This is really, really, really, REALLY depressing. I like it, but it's so different from what most other fanfics with Smellerbee and Longshot are like. I'm guessing that was the purpose, but it's still something that just doesn't feel quite right with the characters. Maybe I'll re-read this and discover that everything fits, but at the moment... it's confusing.

damn this s.h.i.t is sad but in some real good job. i can realy feel the emotion in this oneshot.
