I think I said this last chapter, but I am SO glad she (& Will) is getting professional help. Even though they both hate it, it seems like they found an excellent psychologist who is actually helping.

I can't believe Will hasn't shared his side of the story yet(dead Grandma).

Poor Emma, knowing the fear she felt when she hit the river but also seeing her purposefulness. And I just realized, mysophobia and river water don't mix well.

/"Can I just have soup when we get home?" She pleaded.

"Of course." Will didn't care that she hadn't eaten a whole meal in the past two days. She had just referenced Lima as home. He couldn't be happier./

I've finally put my finger on what your story reminds me of-have you ever heard the song Buildings by Regina Spektor? Except for the fact that Emma isn't a drunk, I feel like that song sort of relates to your story...
