For some reason this makes me think of sin city and noir movies. The kind of voice over you hear in gumshoe detective stories.

lovey, you have such a way with words. I think I hate myself a bit more after reading this, but it's not my self-loathing, it's Mello's. When you write in this perspective you have this knack for making the reader feel what the character feels. The only thing I hate myself for right now is not keeping up with your stories, but damn, you're too brilliant. You write too many and I'm far too impatient. Your word choice is flawless, your portrayal of hetero-Mello is absolutely mind numbing. Some sick part of me wants to scoop him up and show him something beautiful, as I'm sure that you do as well.

The beauty of your words in this one have me speechless right now. I really do not think that I could find a single fault with any part of this. The words, descriptions, the characters...perfect.

I really really enjoyed this. Like, entirely. I actually agree with you completely in terms of this is how it would happen - I even think it would occur in terms of MelloxMatt still being. Mello is too rough and ready, too fiery, too much a product of pressure not to have sex with a woman at least once in his life. It's either a whore or pulling some girl in a bar. No names - which is what you have done here, and you have done it beautifully.

The blood. Oh my gosh, phollie. Symbolism and imagery and all the detail and attention and the way you deal with it. You use words beautifully. You use words like no one I've ever seen. You give me faith that writing is not a waste of time because maybe once or twice and every now and again I can create something that comes close to being like this.

You have exactly the right level of detail and you bring things starkly to life. You capture, with images and ideas and little hints of an imagined reality the things that we find hiding inside us, the thoughts we have, the feelings when listening to a piece of music or looking at something on the news that we can't express or understand. you articulate it, here, in stories like this that don't have anytihng to do with anything but hit that note, that indescribable, intangible, uncapturable note that strikes a chord in everyone. Thank you for writing this, and for writing full stop.

Seriously though stop making me favourite all of your stories damn it. My favourites list is going going to look like some massive fangasm over you.
