oranfly chapter 1 . 3/6/2010 I absolutely love how blunt Olivia is in this fic! It totally just screams "her". Thanks for the great read :) |
Viktorija chapter 1 . 2/26/2010 Well done!:) |
Crazed-Authoress chapter 1 . 2/10/2010 Aw, this was super cute, I loved it! But boy, those two...ugh, I about screamed when Olivia had her little light bulb moment... |
Useless-Materia chapter 1 . 2/9/2010 Oh, I do like this, but the one big problem is end of episode continuity. In Jacksonville, Peter suggests walking to the bar at the end of the episode, not driving. And Olivia has proven to have a high tolerance in past episodes as well. Also, Walter and Peter live on the first floor, there is no need to take an elevator anywhere and Olivia drove to Peter's place, so he wouldn't need to drive her home. Am I being overly critical? I think I am. Anyway, it was a wonderful read, and your dialogue was very very in-character. I LOVED their second kiss attempt, and how he tells her to close her eyes and tilt her head. You're a good writer and I'd enjoy more Fringe fics! :) |
Pedellea chapter 1 . 2/9/2010 O... flirting with The Secret! Very well done. Worked well being told from Peter's POV, and I'm half curious to see how "flirting with The Secret" would work from Olivia's POV. Anyway, this is a well crafted story. Your portrayals of all the characters are realistic - drunk Olivia was particularly enjoyable! I thoroughly enjoyed your glyphs too. A lovely touch! I'm glad you got the idea exorcised from your head. Keep writing! |
Starlight77 chapter 1 . 2/9/2010 This was so sweet and adorable and heartbreaking and beautiful! I love how you had Olivia get so drunk and say that Peter looked nice unlike the scary building. I like that she revealed it to him albeit in an indirect way as she wasn't exactly being coherent and explaining herself. It makes me feel a little better that, upon sobering up, she decided to keep his glimmer a secret. I'd still rather she tell him while sober and coherent but it makes it a little better to me that she revealed it while drunk at least. Her "I like you" was so sweet and tugged at my heartstrings, especially as Peter's face flushed hot at her words. hehe. :) I also loved the interaction between Peter, Olivia, and Walter in the morning. I can so see Walter trying to give her drugs to make the hangover better and Peter stressing to his father that Olivia said she "almost" wanted them. I thought the conversation between the two of them when she mentioned the kiss was outrageously funny and also reflective of their dynamic with the fun & flirty banter. And OF COURSE Walter would interrupt and OF COURSE he'd be looking for the tuxedo after their "date" that they refused to call a date. :) Then the ending scene was very beautiful as he reassured her that they didn't have to label anything or control it like an experiment (a very fitting way to put it for them) and letting her know that he wasn't going anywhere. I feel like he would pick up on her worry over him leaving, even if he doesn't understand the full implications of her statement. Great fic! Thanks for sharing! |
anthem2521 chapter 1 . 2/9/2010 O, I really enjoyed this! Great job and I love how Olivia acted while under the influence. |
berryfuls chapter 1 . 2/8/2010 super cute! i love how the symbols spell out LOVED :) amazing! |
Skate-815 chapter 1 . 2/8/2010 for reasons unknown to myself, this was my favourite part "Good," she said with a grin, "I like you." Parking, he forced another laugh at her innocent statement that had his face feeling a little too hot. Because it just reminds me of their little in show conversations, and the way he reacts to her. I also liked the drunk conversation about how pretty he is, and the way that you didn't make this into a fic about him finding out, unlike the rest of them popping up around here, which don't get me wrong, I enjoy, but it's always nice to see something different. |
killmotion chapter 1 . 2/8/2010 Very sweet. I love how it takes them a few tries to kiss. And Walter and the suit. Hahah purple-people-eater. Loved ths! |
