This is incredibly beautiful and a perfect coda to Betty's story. Your story is now my personal canon. I cried when I read the book and I cried reading this. That said, you did such a good job that it's definitely a compliment. )

Aw... so sweet. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Tom & Carl are together. Which was pretty brave of Diana Duane considering how the 1st book came out in the mid-80s. Young Wizards is an awesome series... what's really great about it is that each book (at least as far as I can tell via 1, 2, 4, & 8) is that each one is better than the last. And the 9th book is coming out this spring! Woo-hoo!

This made me cry, but it also made me laugh. Of course Mrs. Callahan knows about Tom and Carl. She wasn't born yesterday. I'm really excited to see you continue these stories! I love Tom/Carl and I think there's so much about their past to explore. Looking forward to the next installment!
