Marshall's anger on her behalf is enthralling in its own right; the depth suggested, deceptively passionate, all below the surface of even Mary's sight sometimes. She's lucky indeed to have him. As a partner, a best friend, and a man in love with her.

Please tell me Marshall changed into jeans and footware whilst up in his room, yes? *blinks*

Poor Marshall - that nurse gave *him* the look of loathing, when he was the talented one to get Mary cleaned up as well as she was. And then Mary... I'm surprised she didn't raise a fuss at being called "Ma'am" by the nurse. She's just that prickly. lol

Oh, look - she *did* take issue with it! Yep; that's Mary.

That doctor - besides the fact I just *knew* she'd accuse Marshall of doing the beating, seriously owes him an apology for her violent assumptions. Yes, it does happen, but she was like a terrier that he *had* to be the one, rather than trying yet again to wheedle Mary into talking to her privately.

The ending line? Excellent.

Really sweet story, it deserves more reviews! I hope you consider a sequel, I would love to see Mary and Marshall confront Raph for what he did. But I see you have some other IPS stories so I'll have to be content to check them out. )

Hey. I liked this fic. You should do In Plain Sight fics more often. Anyway, normally I don't review (sorry) but I wanted to say that I loved how you portrayed Brandi. I think most people don't get her right when it comes to her relationship with Mary, but you did it perfectly. Loved the story, too. Ciao~! cxvxs
