Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like a pulse behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls but pass it does. Even during 8 week hiatuses.

"She was scared. That was the key. Of course. Shitty timing in my opinion, but necessary." Excellent!

"With those words it hit me." This whole paragraph is the key to what happened. Fear and love rolled into one turned her ability back on.

Bravo for this simply-explained and excellent chapter.

This was wonderful to read. I would really like to see this in Peter's POV.. I imagine his reaction to her sudden 'revelation' to be.. rather bewildered and disappointed.
