I love it and I love what zack said at the end of the story

Question: how old are z/c in this story? Sometimes the things they say or do make me thing early teens (like 13, 14) but then you're turning it into twincest and they're saying how much they love each other and I go "they have to be at least 16 then right?" And then the bullies you call bigger boys which makes me think z/c must be in like middle school (maybe age 12 or 13) but they're allowed to walk home by themselves from what I must assume is a very long walk away and I think "they must be in high schoolso at least age 13 but more likely 16). Its not a huge thing but I try to picture them in this story-like a movieand knowing the age would help my imagery a bit. Other than that, I found little fault with this story. I would like to read more as a matter of fact
