I love your descriptions - all of them, but most vividly the hands grappling with darkness to open the tent, night scalding the eyes, the sea groaning and tumbling like winter. The stunned and disconnected thoughts seem so perfect, such a realistic depiction of grief.

I was shocked to see this didn't have any reviews yet on here. I guess, sadly, the Iliad is not one of the bigger fandoms - despite having been around for a few thousand years! I am planning to post some Achilles/Patroklos fic that I'm working on here, but I suppose I will have to resign myself to the likelihood that it won't garner hundreds of reviews. I guess we just have to write for love, not for reviews!
