For someone who hasn't played the game, you write within the the ME 2 world perfectly! I playing myself and I am still having trouble keeping my facts straight. I am loyal to my relationship with Kaiden, but he's not really my favorite person at the moment given his attitude. Sure, he apologizes for it later but still...

After Kaiden, Garrus and Thane are my favorite. I will admit that I am VERY tempted to romance each in different playthroughs. Garrus has this lone gunman thing going for him while Thane has his caring romantic. The temptations are very hard to overlook lol.

Anyway, great story! It made fall even more in love with Thane!

I /really/ like this piece. The characterizations were spot on, the pacing was great, the interaction was so good that I /wish/ it had been part of the game. It should have been part of the game.
