They're too old to actually stand and fight! However, they have money and the willingness to HIRE people to do it for them! And keep doing it till either they wise up, run out of money, run out mercs willing to go up against people like Harry or they're finally killed. But they're too use to getting their own way for so long that to simply surrender is unthinkable to them! |
