It has been an interesting developement lately and it is highly intriguing to see Sesshoumaru grow and learn how to become a noble man again by (almost) starting at the bottom of the ladder.
The lady behind the Bikini Girl, an (now) old lady, was in addition, extremly amusing and unexpected to put it mildly, but I like her already. And what more Grandpa seems to like her as well (and perhaps vica versa). I got a good laugh when Kagome upon discovering that, hurried to help out the cleaning crew XD

However, I really hope Mrs. Higurashi will be alright through all this, she and Tora is such an adoring couple in your story and I would love to see more of their gentle teasing/flirting in the future.

Forgot to say last chapter I see Totosai is alive or at least maybe a descendant of his is. I would say he's well but idk. I wonder where the group is headed though.

The oyabun being a mixture of youkai and something other than human war a really big surprise. I guess her behavior was formed before her youkai half "died", otherwise I can't see how she would lead an organization that thrives on the pain and suffering of others. On the other hand, maybe the wellbeing of her subordinates serves as a kind of balance...
Hmmm... A three-eyed cow immediately reminds me of Totosai. If the old blacksmith is behind the Basic guides it would make sense he would publish guides for all kinds of work around the house.
If the scenes at the beginning of the story really is still i the future for Kagome, maybe she asked/will ask him to write the guides to help her grandpa and Sesshomaru (time travel makes my head spin).
But if all youkai have been turned into crystal, how can he be publishing Bikini Girl right now?
At least they now have an adress to check. I'm curious to see what they will be finding there.

This story is so unique and I love it! The theory about what happened to all the yokai is intriguing and cant wait for more to be revealed about it. Like: who cast this disease/plague/curse, how exactly did Sesshomaru, and apparently others, survive, You mentioned that the spider mark on his chest is no longer a threat but why does his eyes still glow? Just a few questions that popped up about the plague. Some other questions that I'm curious about is that I see some romance happening between Mama Higurashi and Tora. Will Sesshomaru and Kagome find a little romance too (not neccessary between them and not at this moment, but maybe further down the line when all the crazy has died down a bit)? I love this story and cant wait for more developing goodness.

Its so different this story I though it would be crossover story but wow I dont regret reading it worth reading and the story is very original.

I don't know how I missed this thru 10 years. But I found it, and I love it, and I'm so so grateful to have read thus far. Really hoping you update frequently on this now. Kind of inspiring, right now, that last chapter. I think this has been underappreciated falling thru the FF NET cracks. And it is so much more than just Adventure and Fantasy. I couldn't help but laugh at some parts. I think Tora is an adorable OC, I got so confused at his age, I thought he was in his early 20s but I guess he's older... and I'm still wishing for a SessKag romance but that's the fangirl in me. Whatever happens, I look forward to it. Writers like you are the reason I still read fanfiction even 15 years later.

Hmm, very interesting, when Sesshoumaru feels emotion his youki comes back strong! I wonder if he'll use that later?

I have been lazy and not given you a review on your latest chapters, but here it finally comes
Chapter 37 and 38 were quite a melodramatic intermezzo for the current fight against the Kiri but finally gave some answers to what happened to the youkai kind. Though, still nothing about the origin and the mysterious spider marks it left.

Your latest chapter however, was very deep in psychological terms. From the look and gravity of it, coming so close to such a voilent near death experience seems to have made the old lord reflect deeply upon his purpose in this world, and it was beautiful written (and it looks he got some of his powers back). It was a perfect combination of self-insight, reflection, self-accept and a feeling of renewed purpose in life..., and a typical Sesshoumaru-don't-need-any-help, exit, at the end when the rescue workers came XD

(Poor crowbar, after all this I hope he can use his strenght too straighten it again XD )

Hmm, Sesshomaru is "other" too perhaps?

I think I missed something. So did this happen before Kagome goes to the past or does Kagome go back to the past later on in the story to help out with the disease?

Love this story! This glimpse of the past is interesting. How did sesshoumaru end up sealed, after all?
