love this story!
Catahoula chapter 12 . 10/7/2011
Nothing but a common enemy to restore a bromance! Hopefully the Glee-banishment will be dealt with next.

I wonder what punishment Karofsky got? The cock sucking-comment was clearly sexual harassment, happened at school and thus reflects badly on their (non-existent) bullying policy - and we know Rachel has never been shy about threatening Figgins with lawsuits...
Catahoula chapter 10 . 10/7/2011
Well, at least Rachel is as zealous in righting her mess as in making it... No one can accuse her of lack of determination

I was worried initially when it seemed they got together again without actually finding a possible solution to Rachel's insecurities for a clearly recurring situation ("prone to diva fits" as an acceptable explanation with a threat of repeat performances? Try again, Rachel!) but then she really impressed me with handling the supposed party-fling during the short break-up. That was a leap of maturity and common sense I was pleasantly surprised by! As I was by Noah with his immediately going the honesty-route and telling her. And them finally acknowledging their relationship openly at least helps to curb advances, hopefully making Rachel feeling more secure in the process as well as stopping the guilt for "sneaking" around Finn. They've come a long way in this chapter!
Catahoula chapter 9 . 10/7/2011
Wow, Rachel sure pulled a number on him here, poor Noah. That was a really unfair and cruel thing to do, especially since it came with absolutely no warning or any chance to even defend himself. I get her insecurity but it was still way out of line. Props for writing their argument: it sounded imo very realistic and true to life and characters with the way it escalated.

I'm glad Noah called her on the waterworks this time though (even if they're genuine, the whole "we fight, I conveniently cry and - instant win because you feel mean and apologize regardless of whether you've done anything wrong" is simply emotional blackmail and really annoying) and didn't let her get away with it and her treatment of him and assumptions about him. He seems to finally gain some self-respect that extends beyond just his looks and sexual prowess: good for him!

I'm just wondering: does Rachel realize that just a few short months ago if her big wish and obsession of snagging Finn as a boyfriend had come true she would have had a very similiar problem and insecurities? Because, while Finn isn't hot or has any sort of legendary sexual reputation, girls would come onto him for being the QB and being dorkily cute. She'd have had the same situation to cope with basically, a boyfriend a lot more popular and sexually in demand by the WMHS-population than herself...

Rachel will have her work cut out to make that one alright again! She destroyed a lot of trust here in addition to the relationship itself. Glad I don't have to wait for updates and can just read on
Catahoula chapter 8 . 10/7/2011
I'm really enjoying this, great story!

Only thing I find puzzling and weird is the sanctifying of Finn by our heroes, like here:

"He's a really good guy, isn't he?" He nods. "Yeah, definitely wouldn't do to me what I did to him."

Because - seriously? St. Finn the flawless is so not what happened. Both of them are perfectly aware that Finn was in a commited relationship with Quinn while he had decidedly non-platonic interactions with Rachel! Rachel was there as the other party actually while he cheated on Quinn. They didn't go the whole distance unlike the other two, but it's not as if Quinn was the only unfaithful one of the couple. And not so coincidentally it was during that time that Quinn (feeling - rightly - like she was losing Finn to Rachel and Glee, even outright saying it) and Puck (feeling their friendship threatened by Finn joining Glee, neglecting football and lying to him) got together...

Beautiful story. Definitely one of the best Puckleberry fictions out there. Keep up the great work and please update soon!
rain chapter 16 . 7/13/2011
please update this fic...
Guest chapter 15 . 6/28/2011
I spent a whole day reading your story and I am in love with it. From the way they started to now, it was a slow burn and definitely one that we got rewarded with in this chapter.

I love Puck's character in this. It's still Puck but he has soften in this fic, at the right amount, of course. He's still a badass. I love how vulnerable he knows he can be with Rachel and that she will be there.

I usually find Rachel's character to be annoying in some stories. This story, she was totally herself and not overbearing. She's a 'real' person and isn't trying to be something else. It's refreshing to see.

I really hope you continue with this story and finish it. :)
