Did you get the idea for this story off of Half-Life2, by any chance? Just wondering. Anyway cool story! I've been playing Brute Force and couldn't help but wonder if there were any fics for it, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they actually did exist here on this site. Nice story, a breath of fresh air compared to most of the fics I've been coming across lately :)
