Old fic is old, I know :D But I review everything I read, and I read this.

And I enjoyed it! I'm canon blind, but that didn't confuse me too much. I liked the simplistic, almost "see Spot run" beginning, though there were a couple of tense shifts and a persistent punctuation error around dialogue (dialogue tags need to be separated out from dialogue by commas, not full stops, though you probably know that, four years on :D) Some nice visual details in the latter part, though there are two extremely huge paragraphs that you may consider breaking up (assuming you are still around and want to return to this fic, of course :P)
