Isolde von der Wiese chapter 1 . 5/14/2011 That was lovely :) So moving and sweet...(Basil is such a good person, I don't think most people could forgive someone who murdered them...) -rereads again- |
HoshisamaValmor chapter 1 . 2/23/2010 This was incredibly beautiful. Very well written, amazing descriptions of thoughts and feelings. I was actually a little surprized when I realized Basil kept watching Dorian ever since after death, kinda creepied me out because of the whole theme, but very good. Your descriptions, as I said, were wonderful, so intense in feelings and emotions. Also shows the amount of thought you put into the scenes, and the consequent imagination shown at the end of the fic. I detected a couple of typos, but nothing close to serious. This was an instant fav after some paragraphs, and only confirmed as I read it all. Very good job. ~HsValmor |
storytellers chapter 1 . 2/14/2010 This is a lovely little piece. I love Basil's mixed emotions and you used the poem very well. Also, I agree that Lord Kelso is the true villain, at least in the movie version. Please, keep writing! This fandom needs more stories! I've already posted mine and I'm posting a sequel within the next few days. I'm hoping to get more people to write now that the movie is out. Once again, good job! |
Maevainwen Adaniel chapter 1 . 2/8/2010 This is really powerful. It is beautifully written especially the scene after Dorian dies. That last line was perfect. |
FinalFallenFantasy chapter 1 . 2/4/2010 Oh my, what a lovely ending line. This really does seem like it could be an extension of the film. I love the inclusion of the Ballad of Reading Gaol, too. Well done. |
