so youre telling me... Phoenix... lied for Dumbledore ? she doesn't feel ANY anger ? she still... loves Mary, as her mother ?

you have made clear that they are her kidnappers and ONLY want to manipulate her, but still this is so disgusting. reading Phoenix' thoughts on how she wants to "protect" Mary is frankly nauseating. And Narissa who have finally found HER daughter, has to face a product of Dumbledore's manipulations ?

i don't know what you are planning to do with that, but if Phoenix grows to protect Harry and hate the Malfoys, then this is... just... so sad, really really sad. she will become exactly what Dumbledore had planned for her, her life would just be one giant lie that she won't ever admit to... what she will "fall in love" then? ew just disguting

i expect Phoenix to wake up, if she doesnt, she's just going to be a captive, worse a "happy" captive.

So far, I've been really interested on how the story will lead to, it's well written and offers quite a bit of description - which I am thankful for. Only, I've been really bothered whenever someone was thinking something and it was written up as dialogues with quotation marks, can you perhaps put it in italics please ? It would make everything just SO much better and less confusing when reading.

Also one thing I am certain of, is that Phoenix is a victim. She obviously suffers from Stockholm Syndrome, the Order thinks of her as a "weapon", well Dumbledore does, he had never shied away from emotional manipulation in order to gain whatever he deemed necessary for the "greater good". I don't condone such acts, even with Mary - she does love Phoenix, which is predictable from someone who had to raise a child, so really what does she have to say in this ? Whether the Malfoys are "good" or "bad", their child - and I can't stress that enough, Their Child was STOLEN. They have EVERY right to feel angered, especially Narcissa. And again, Mary played right into Dumbledore's game, that growing to genuinely love Phoenix would cement the fact that her "mother" loves her.

The whole point of Dumbledore's strategy was to build emotional bonds strong enough for Phoenix so that she would SERVE them, which he was proven right of in this chapter when she just straight up lied for her kidnappers.

Poor child, I sincerely hope she won't continue to find excuses for people who have no guilt in stealing a child for the purpose of "shielding Harry Potter". What. A. Joke.

Just who was responsible for Phoenix being taken from the Malfoys and given to Mary McDonald? Dumbledore seems to know, otherwise why would he just sit there when Phoenix met the Malfoys? Also, dic Narcissa know who really took Phoenix? After 10 years, why did McGonagal call her as Malfoy at the sorting? Is she in on this too? Id'd like some back story, please. This is getting to be quite confusing. Surely, Dumbledore and the Order know that Mary didn't abduct Phoenix. Why make it seem so? By the way, I have read this entire story so far. Why was there a box of pictures of Mary, Harry and Phoenix at the Malfoys?

Why didn't Dumbledore admit that he was the mastermind behind the kidnapping of Phoenix? All he did was sit there. Mary McDonald did not kidnap the poor girl, and now she's had to run away for her life, All because of the old fool. Doing things like this, and also dumping Harry on the Dursleys' doorstep are just two things I hate about Dumbledore! And Dumbledore just sits there like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth and lets someone else take the blame? What is exactly the Real reason Phoenix was torn from her family and had Mary McDonald raise Phoenix as her daughter? I'd really like to know. Dumbledore should hang for this.

Also, MALFOY FAMILY MOMENT! This is exactly the kind of chapters I’m loving about your story. Although the Godric thing was disappointing. Poor phoenix!

This is really good. Your characters are realistic, and I say so because they have good qualities *and* flaws. Nobody wants to read about a perfect character. Also I am glad that Phoenix is not in the tournament. It would be too much like the books, and I rather like the mix of book/movie and original work you do. I doubt it will happen anytime soon, but do you think you could kinda help the Malfoys get back together? ‘Cause family *is* family...
Also, all I’m going to say is that I love George/Phoenix! Will it work out? DUN-dun-dun!

Why does she not realize Draco MALFOY? You mentioned her last name and his in scenes where they're in the same place.
