Reviews for The Annals of the Queen
Guest chapter 6 . 1/28/2018
Damn this was so good. Won’t you continue? And if you won’t, maybe consider letting someone else continue the story?
ABOVEandBEYOND94 chapter 6 . 2/4/2017
Just discovered this and its brilliant! Ugh. I really wish you could update! D:

confelicity chapter 6 . 7/23/2014
Every so often I come back to read this story... And it makes me sad that we'll never see it through.
Cotton Strings chapter 6 . 10/17/2012
I hope you finish this one day soon! It was just getting good! ;)
Pentaghast chapter 6 . 9/24/2012
Oh, I know you're probably not going to update anytime soon, but this is a great story and it's absolute murder where you stopped! So many emotions in six chapters. One of my personal favorites ever!
BrigitteVivienne chapter 6 . 8/9/2012
I think I'm going to sit here at my computer and cry. Cry because of the story and cry because you haven't updated in almost 2 years. You are a truly gifted writer.
BrigitteVivienne chapter 5 . 8/9/2012
Oh my heart is breaking and it's so delicious! I love you!
BrigitteVivienne chapter 3 . 8/9/2012
You are sooo damn good at this kind of writing. It's a blissful form of torture to read. My heart is breaking and soaring at once. You are so incredibly talented!
Deep Neptune chapter 5 . 6/15/2012
Leaving a second review because I got a rather nasty private message about my defending the author's use of the word poultice.

Yes, it is fiction. And, yes, it should have real-world realism to make it relatable. But it is another world with their own set of rules. Who is to say that the word poultice in that world is 100% exactly what it means here? If you actually view the in-game description of a "health poultice" it says "a soothing, restorative substance". And I seem to remember the characters actually drinking the poultices in the game, not lathering them on. So perhaps you should write David Gaider an informative letter on the proper use of the word instead of flaming the author here who I believe has done a fabulous job. Except for that whole bit about not finishing this fantastic story. :)
Deep Neptune chapter 6 . 6/5/2012
I really love this story so far. It appears that you aren't going to finish it which is a shame. :( It was really going somewhere good and it sparked so many questions. What didn't Alistair want? What was he doing in Amaranthine? Was there a romance between him and the warden? I would love to see you finish it or, sadly, take it down. It's always upsetting when you get caught up in a story only to find there is no end.

And to the person who gave some scathing review because of the use of the word poultice...get a life. We could also talk about the fact that there is no Ferelden, Blights don't really exist, and dragons are imaginary. But seeing as how this is a work of FICTION I don't see the point. Don't ruin a good story or try to bring an author down because of something so silly. And Alistair WAS in a war for a year you know...it is very easy to imagine he sustained injuries to his unmentionables. ;)
Gloria chapter 3 . 5/23/2012
Poultices? For men who can't perform? Er, no. That's NOT what poultices are for. One no more puts a poultice on a man's organ to make him perform than they would try to accomplish the same by smearing it with neosporin. A poultice isn't used to assist in erections the way (certain) herbs would be.

This is what a poultice is and what it's used for: wiki/Poultice Unless Mayra's mother is assuming that Alistair's cock has been seriously injured, she isn't going to suggest a poultice to improve his ability to get it up. I'd expect a writer to know details like these so they don't go writing something that jerks readers who know better out of the story.
Terrin chapter 6 . 5/23/2012
It's been YEARS since this was updated. If you're not going to finish it, why leave it up and give readers a half-finished, and thereby extremely disappointing, story?
Telegram chapter 6 . 10/25/2011
Good story. A refreshing take on the Queen. I like these stories about Alistair and a non-warden queen, but they're tough to find.
