This is a beautiful story and very well written! I really enjoyed it. I love all the misunderstandings and miscommunication along the way to getting those lovely boys together. I especially like that Reid, even in the face of such a terrifying situation, doesn't lose his sense of self. He still has a bit of fire in his belly. He won't allow Morgan to pity him (even though he wasn't in the first place), he stands up for himself on multiple occasions, and he sends that good for nothing father of his packing! Atta boy! He also doesn't just forgive Gideon right away, like he always does in everyone's stories. He's believably 'Reid' throughout this story. I loved it! :-)

I only found two issues to the whole story. One is that wording and tense (present future past) errors are so often that it makes the story irritating to read at points. And 2 is that you never actually say what dr. Myers said about Spencer's condition. Other than those two issues the story was great and I doubt you actually need a beta, maybe more proof reading on your own for those errors that I've mentioned already otherwise 3 out of 5 stars

I don't intend to be rude but Derek and Spencer aren't lovers yet. Lovers are usually people who have a sexual relationship and they haven't had sex. Again, I'm extremely sorry if this comes across as rude but I just want to let you know so you can become a better writer and stuff. This is an awesome story by the way, I love it so far.

Where has this story been all my life? :) I have to admit sometimes I get a little tired of "something terrible has happened to Spencer-again" stories and I occasionally skip some. In the case of this story, that was a big mistake on my part.

This is a delightful story. Your characterization is spot-on. The writing is excellent. And your fluff makes me wanna make a cup of tea and get into my Snuggie.
