I don't think I've ever read a better rendered conversation between Max and Alec about Manticore. breathtaking, really. great.

I know I reviewed this somewhere sometime but I just reread and loved it! I adore your Alec, he's emotionally complex but still straightforward somehow. Great angsty story with some fabulous snark too.

aw...they were both good endings. so i thought when i saw alternate ending at the begining as the last chapter that you had decided to make an M/L i was like WOAH! no way better not be. but man this was a good story. i really liked it! YAY! lol

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your story and how you built up the relationship between Max and Alec. I think the only thing I had an issue with was where you took Alec emotionally at the end based on the context of the story, but that has more to do with how I see him. And, although I feel Alec is a very deep character, I *really* can't see him expressing his emotions that way, but that's just me.

As for the ending as a whole, I did like the alternate one better. It added that little extra something that made the context of the chapter flow a bit better. Other than that, I say good job!

Hey. Really loving your story so far... One little thing though. In this chapter you seem to have confused a game (solitaire) with a cell (solitary) and I'm pretty sure it's Psy OPS for operations and not psy Obs, I dunno. Just a thought.

Well, *I* liked it! I think i prefered the first ending. But the convo between Logan and Max was better in the second. Both fantastic.
