Wow. Yes, I enjoyed it very much! It was deep and kinda sweet and... insightful, I think, is the word. Unique. One of the most in character take-ons on those two that could be there. I liked the not-afraid-part best :D Though the whole conversation was alluring and interesting to read. It's kinda sad that there is no sequel, but I agree that it is best left as a stand-alone. I am so faving this! Thanks for writing this :D It was a great read.

You are right.I always wondered why every one thougt Y Marik was that evil...yes he later lost it but originaly he was all for the good of his 'hikari'...in a misgided way ;but still.I like Marik and I like fics where he is pictured like this...like a real person who comited a mistake but is not a demented and dumb devil.

I really love how you wrote Marik and Ryou. Especially Marik, actually. I don't think I've ever read a story where Marik claims to always have been looking out for Malik! Then again things like that would mostly likely be in the Bronzeshipping fics that I don't read. xD

And the conversation between Ryou and Marik was just great. I strongly dislike fanfics where Ryou is completely shy and fearful. I mean, he did stand up to Bakura in the manga. XD Now that takes guts.

Gah. Cliffhanger ending that shall never be completed. D: I think...I think he doesn't tell Malik! Or maybe he does. Neh, I'll never know I guess! XD
