I like a happy ending, but I am left curious as to what happened with Felipe that allowed Pam to take over Louisiana, but not be bothered with Nevada or Arkansas.

Okay, feeling slightly better seeing that Sookie didn’t stomp off & shut Eric out after the first hug of relief. Still expecting some mighty rough terrain ahead though.

So now, beyond really, really not liking Sjur, I don’t trust him. To be groping her & holding her down from leaving? He “can’t help it” & him saying she does something to him that’s led to him wanting her”? That’s just crap. He was coming on to her the minute he met her. Not cool. What a sleazy creep! She needs to chuck him out of her life completely & immediately and that would be the case even if Eric hadn’t just reappeared. But I suppose we’ll be seeing the usual indecisive, conflicted Sookie traits, making excuses for Sjur & keeping him around.

Please, oh please don’t let this be one of those stories where Sookie’s immaturity & temper have her punishing Eric & pushing him away once she gets past her early relief at seeing him alive. Giving him hell — telling him off is certainly called for, but I hate stories where she lets her stupidity drive her to ‘cut off her nose to spite her face,’ treating Eric like crap all the while.

So, you’re gonna be mean to us & bring Appius into the story, aren’t you? I feel it coming ‘cuz my skin is already starting to crawl.

Will Sjur know who Eric is & back off now? I’m guessing not. He feels too greedy & grasping to do the right thing.

I have faith that you’ll find a way for Eric & Pam to have ‘survived’ the plane crash, but I am really, really not liking the flirty day man!

Tears from Eric & him telling Sookie that she will be fine (rather than using ‘we’)? Is he not going with her? Could that be why Steinngrim is there? Two planes sure makes that seem likely.

We didn’t find out the details of what Sookie told Eric about her trip back in time so I’m curious as to whether she mentioned having met Steinngrim then.
Steinngrim was a Seer so had to have some kind of magic of his own back as a human. Did he foresee becoming a vampire & meeting Sookie a millennia later? Does he have any memory of her trip back?

Boy — ya got me really hooked & curious now!

Small issue: Since Sookie’s family has been living in that house for 150 years or so, there shouldn’t be a mortgage, just utility bills & taxes, unless someone borrowed against the house for a loan for something else. Doing so doesn’t sound like something Gran or Sookie would have done. Sorry, I can’t remember if CH ever mentioned a mortgage or not.

Ugh! I do not get Sookie characters’ attachment to Jason characters. I know that most people believe the whole ‘blood is thicker than water’ crap & hang on tight to even worthless relatives, but I sure don’t understand it. Jason characters are the type to have secretly taken out a mortgage against the farmhouse & found a way to make the repayment of the loan his sister’s burden.

I’m looking forward to finding out how Eric manages to keep her out going to Nevada.

Well, I’m no fan of the E/S baby making stories (his appeal to me is as a vampire, not as a googly-eyed marshmallow with fangs), but this should be interesting, at least in how it gets explained to everyone else.

He asks if she had been raped! An odd question since she’s clearly not traumatized & is much more sexually healed & responsive than before she left. Nothing was supposed to change & it appears nothing else did, but with that question, the only thing I can think of is that she returned pregnant& he was scenting that difference. BUT, that would be a ginormous change when nothing was supposed to change. Very curious!

Eric called her by name? That doesn’t seem much like a newborn vampire, at least according to most descriptions. He would be too ravenous to not be drinking from her rather than talking to her, I would think. Could she be back home in modern times again?

Hmmm. Claude said nothing would or could change. Will the S tattoo disappear when Sookie does or will modern day Eric have the mark on his tush when she gets back? I know I read some version of Eric being turned by Appius where Appius cut away all of Eric’s scars/imperfections & healed him before the actual turning so he would be physically perfect, but I’m thinking that was a fan fic, not CH so that wouldn’t explain modern, vampire Eric not having the tattoo when she gets back.
