Congratulations! You have successfully written one of the most thought-provoking stories I have ever read. Most fanfiction authors utilize the existing enemies to continue the storyline; you have chosen to create an entirely new one. After reading several stories in which the ‘evil’ RDA returns and the ‘good’ Na’vi valiantly turn them away.

Compared to most stories, your unique version of events following the expulsion of the RDA is by far the most logical. I hate that most stories simply have them kicked off; then in X years then return, stronger than ever. Your story is one of the elite few, which have broken the everlasting supply of scorpion gunships and spec-op marines; and then replace them with an enemy that actually makes since. To me, it isn’t likely that a company could survive even 1 year without its flagship product. I know that the RDA has alternate forms of income, but without the staggering amounts of cash flowing in from Pandora, I don’t even think they could’ve afforded to send an ISV to Pandora.

I don’t know how many stories I have read which the authors OC’s are either insanely Mary-Sueish, or simply self-insertions. Your story is only the second (now third, thanks to a sequel) to feature an OC(s) that compliments the story, rather than harms it. I have to say that I am excited to continue to read your story… I hope you update soon.

One thing: Short of quantum entanglent, I can't see any way for Eywa to make contact with a mind that isn't currently connected to the tree.

I'm just thinking aloud here, but... the absorbtion of grace augustine and, eventually, the converted humans, would show a being who, in true marvin the android style has a brain the size of a planet, the wonders of logic and mathematics. While tha Na'vi may be traditionalistic and minimalist, the actual planetary intelligence showed by rallying the pandoran wildlife against the RDA forces that it is capable of innovation and deviation from past patterns. Methinks that, in a few hundred million years time, pandoran wildlife will have been sheparded down an incredible evolutionary path...

but then again, who am I to secondguess a fictional deity (:
