Reviews for Why Don't The Girls Notice Me?
Guest chapter 1 . 9/2/2013
I'm sure this is either fiction or non-fiction but either way I'm sure that it's been influenced by real life events. It's true though. That's what girls tend to do. Most girls are like that but not all girls. I haven't seen Bye Bye Birdie but I really like your story and I might check out what B.B.B. is now. Thanks for your story it was short and fun to read.

This is so cute! I feel bad for Harvey...I don't blame him. It may need a little work...like the fact that all the girls swoon over Hugo, I tend to think that he is a little nerdy sometimes, and not the most popular...when I played Kim in my camp's production of the show, the girls seemed to laugh at Hugo and seemed more confident than him in the scene before "One Boy." It seems to me that they really think Kim could do better than him. Also, LOL on the fact about Conrad Birdie. Overall, this is a cute, short perspective on how Harvey Johnson feels about rejection.

Harvey is going through exactly what some girls go through over guys. The genders aren't all that different. I invented a girl for him, she just was never fully formed on paper. Her name is Jeanette Templeton.

I thought this was adorable. Harvey doesn't get much of the spotlight, and the girls really ought to notice him!

My dad replaced Dean Stolber as Harvey in the original Broadway cast, and so Harvey is really close to my heart. You wrote him out perfectly, and I could really feel what he was feeling. Lovely story.
