A cool idea, although I didn't really like how the method the Doctor used to cheat the radiation wasn't explained. DONNA RULES, and there should definitely be more great fanfics on her like this one. Thanks for writing. :)

I could definitely believe in this happening; I really like the idea that Ten-the-Second has enough of a connection with her that he can and would risk going back to help her. I was a little sad for poor Shaun, but... Donna belongs on the TARDIS; nothing is the same without her.

i like your ending so much better than EOT plus i love Doctor/Donna because in my mind nobody is better than Donna for the Doctor she is the only companion who has never been in love with him fully and she was the one who brought him back from losing Rose and Martha plus she deserves to remember all the great things she ever did :D

I am such a huge Doctor/Donna fan, I love them both to tiny little bits and I love them TOGETHER even more, and I don't think there's a Whovian on earth who would argue that it was losing Donna that broke him. There were so many SIMPLE solutions for The End of Time. It wasn't inevitable- if all else fails, there's always Jack- but losing Donna made him lose so much of himself that he couldn't- or maybe wouldn't- see it.

Thank you for this. And just for the record, I think it deserves a sequel. The extended adventures of Donna Noble and the Last of the Time Lords...

A superb story, with a might-have-been premise I for one would have enjoyed. 10 out of 10 stars! (And now for the future AU adventures of Donna and the Doctor..?)

I love this story! Donna Noble deserves to remember all the brilliant things she has seen and done. Also, I love how the Doctor was able to save Wilf without regenerating.

That was one of the things that bothered me greatly about End of Time was the whole 'prophecy' thing. Since when do Time Lords believe in prophecies? They are Lords. Of. Time. They don't need prophecies, especially not the Doctor.
