| TuesdayNovember chapter 1 . 7/8/2010 Ok, so I'm an idiot. I spent like, an hour reading your epic story and then gave you a ten word review. Shame on me! So, what can I say? Your story was brilliant. Characterisation was impeccable: the Malfoy's and all the other characters were in perfect form and your OCs were believeable. Usually people try to make excuses for their character's bad behaviour, but you didn't. Your distance from the characters adds an element of realism: you don't attempt to sugar coat actions, bad things are bad no matter who does them. Brava. You could, of course, benefit from some editing/beta-ing. There were a number of careless mistakes. However, it's a testament to your abilities that I was able to ignore said mistakes and continue reading. Usually mistakes make me say, 'fuck this shit,' and stop reading. You, however, managed to incorporate the perfect amount of intrigue and masterful story-telling that made your mistakes ignoreable. In short, you did a brilliant job. But in future, you should consider taking a beta reader, or editing your story beforehand. ) |
