Realism based in ficton - this is lovely, very well written and thoughtfully laid out. I loved the little flashback which added just a little more background and connection to the characters. I (as well as everyone else) would just melt if there were ever to be more 'history' to add to that sweet and heart-felt little flash. I very much enjoyed this piece, I think Kirk was exactly on point (and though I would have loved more story and even a little more Bones) I am happy. I am glad at the Spock references too, the impression that the crew is growing and moving on and living - it's a very nice thought. Thanks.
